“Overall an excellent venue with plenty of space and activities to make your stay enjoyable whether you choose to use it”

Great location with fantastic views and grounds to walk in. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We have been to previous locations and found the three restaurants gave plenty of variety and choice across the 5 nights. Knowing the "system" to book activities ensured that we could experience the archery, rifle shooting and laser pistols. There were also options we tried which did not require booking e.g. croquet, shove ha-penny, snooker plus there were plenty of quiet spaces where other games could be played. The lounge bar has TV screens to watch sports plus the two evening venues also provided options each night. As a family we primarily choose our visits based upon the acts scheduled across the break - this time with Meatloaf, Phil Collins and Queen tributes we were not disappointed. The in house performance team always provide great entertainment - this time it was a selection of songs from well-known musicals. The last evening meal experienced a 30 mins wait time to be seated - there was a menu change although it was not obvious if this was responsible - it was certainly the first time such a wait has occurred so I do not believe it was an underlying issue as breakfasts and a previous meal in the Market Kitchen had all run smoothly. There were many on the Team who worked to make our stay an excellent one but it is only fair to mention a few from various areas:- Market Kitchen - Aleks (front of house manager who remained cool and calm despite the challenges of dealing with people waiting to be allocated a dining table), Luke and Amanda - both on the tables team - friendly and helpful. Entertainment - Sebastian and Georgia in particular who performed exceptionally well with the 4 member team production but also individually were personable and happy to chat through their experiences working at the venue. Activities - Janine for help and support in both the archery and rifle shooting - taking extra time to help where lack of experience was hampering performance. Overall an excellent venue with plenty of space and activities to make your stay enjoyable whether you choose to use it as a base to explore the local area or simply choose to stay in the venue and relax.

“Excellent short break”

This was our first visit, very impressed with location, accommodation and food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends. We were very impressed with singer/pianist Lillia Grace, she is very talented.

“Beware if you have allergies”

Beautifully renovated with amazing grounds.We stayed in a deluxe room.on the 2nd floor.The weekend weather was exceptional so unfortunately the room was very hot..maybe air-conditioning needs to be considered. “In need of improvement”

This was our second holiday with Warners, but first at Heythrop, The location is absolutely beautiful, hotel is well kept and tidy, facilities are good, food is unfortunately no more than average.
