“Wonderul Front Desk staff”

Due to the city lock-down and everything going on, I forgot to mention how great Hanna (Hannah?) and Andre were during my stay here. They made sure I was doing well and whenever I needed assistance, they never hesitated. The hotel is in a great location in the city, and if you need essentials, there is a Walgreens across the street. I look forward to staying here again when everything is back to normal.

“One night stay. ”
Very reasonable price. Very comfortable room. You could not be better placed in the city. Everything is a stones throw away. Staff could not be more helpful to make our stay nice. The hotel is literally a stay and sleep place but restaurants and diners all around so not an issue. Great place … Mais

After doing some research and reading that one of the rooms is particularly haunted . I asked Andre if I could switch to that room. He and another staff member accommodated my requests and made this stay one i would never forget.

My parents and I enjoyed our stay at HUS. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful. They have an option where they can send you text messages to check up on you. The room was clean and organized. I would agree with other reviews that there was a slight smell to the room, probably because the building is so old. Nonetheless, the hotel was a good value for the money and the location was great! We bought the parking package online that included valet parking, which helped save us 50% of the parking costs. When parking, there are a few curbside spaces right in front of the hotel off of Powell St. We didn't know if we could drive onto Powell St., since the public transit rail goes right through the street, but yes, we are allowed to drive onto that street. Also, the hotel stay required us a $100 deposit that gets refunded when we finish our stay without causing damage.
