Hired a car from the airport and found the hotel easily. Street parking was simple but I can imagine it would be tougher to find a place in high season. Reception was efficient and our room well fitted out and with a small balcony overlooking the sea. Our maid was friendly and not intrusive. We opted for self catering but had one meal at the restaurant. It was supposed to be a canarian night but the food seemed just Spanish which was ok by us. There was entertainment that night - a Spanish girl singer with a guitar - she was very good but most of the guests ignored her presence. Easy access to main beach and beach with naturist section off to the right. We took advantage of the terraza nudist on a couple of days when we had gone to puerta del Rosario and sotavento. This was a real plus for catching the early morning and late evening sun. No tennis equipment was available so raquets will be in our baggage next year. local spar handy for essential with a larger one just 200 or so metres away opposite the nearest bars. We will return.

Our one bedroom apartment had a partial sea views,a terrace with table chairs and,sun loungers. The rooms are clean, large and had everything essential for a basic self catering holiday including a full size fridge freezer. Good quiet location close to beach - excellent value for money.This is not luxury accommodation but simple and affordable. We did not use the restaurant so cannot comment on this. On site supermarket is not expensive. The pool is well maintained, just a shame it's not heated. We did not use the expensive WiFi.

We booked at the last minute and ended up at the Morasol We had a really nice relaxing time there and I have to say that the hotel has an exceptionally good bunch of staff . All very pleasant and communicative and they all kept a slightly tired building very very clean . The room we had , room 101 was spacious and adequately specified with a microwave , 2 rings , a good sized fridge and a small balcony . We ate there in the evening twice , one was a buffet with bottle of wine at 25 euros for 2 people . The food wasn't mega but it was nice enough and once again , the staff buzzed about to keep everyone happy. We went to a barbecue night as well but that wasn't great , I had a barbecued pork chop and a foul sausage that stunk of sweaty sock . One gripe I had which the hotel couldn't be responsible for was a dustbin wagon reversed down the street outside most mornings with its reverse bleeper on, more often than not this woke me up . One big annoyance was that the transfer people picked us up at 4pm for a 9pm flight , the journey takes about an hour to the airport . We soon discovered why , we spent an hour driving round picking everyone up at calete de fuse which is literally 10 minutes from the airport . The coach company picked up around 12 people in total from Costa calma on a great big 6 wheel coach , what a waste of resource. They could have collected us in a minibus and taken us straight to the airport and saved themselves a fortune in fuel . I was pretty miffed by the time we finally got to the airport Overall though I would go to the Morasol again purely because of the staff there

We have used Apartementos Morasol 3 times through the latter years, because it offers good apartments close to the enormous beaches of Costa Calma, Fuerteventura, and allows us to buy and cook local food onselves, as we prefer. The hotel's own buffet restaurant does not provide fantastic culinaric experiences, but is a buffet at a reasonable price for those interested in that. One negative for us is that the price includes breakfast, which we far prefer to prepare ourselves. The service is good and the large beach is a wonderful place for swimming, walking, wind surfing and kiting. Generally good quality for the money.
